- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Knowledgeable in wage determinations, certified payroll reporting, audits, and timesheet tracking; follow up with employees and managers for timely entry and approvals.
- Working knowledge of multi-state payroll and payroll tax rules and regulations in the US
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- State & Federal (Davis-Bacon), Certified and Prevailing Wage Payroll Expert Experience Required Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Provide customer support as related to certified payroll.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 5+ years of Managing Certified payroll experience required
- 3+ years of In-depth knowledge of prevailing wage laws and labor compliance.
- Compensation and Wage Structure, Benefits Administration, Worker Compensation, Employment Law Advanced, MS Excel and proficiency in MS Word
Experience initiating and implementing HCM/payroll systems. - Experience with WorkDay, Kronos Pro and Telestaff.
- Multi-state prevailing wage payroll experience.
- Experience dealing with CBA/unions.
